THE GROWING INTEREST IN PHEROMONES

Whether you're looking for some instant attraction when you head out on a date, or you have a strong interest in the biology of the human body, there is a good chance that you are interested in pheromones and wonder do pheromones work?  While we have known for quite some time that some animals will use their powerful sense of smell to communicate fairly complex messages, it is only recently that we have begun to understand that we ourselves will do the exact same thing.  Currently, many scientists are working to figure out how precise our ability to understand these signals might be, and the answers that they are beginning to see are quite fascinating.

THE ANIMAL SCENT

When we start thinking about pheromones, we need to ask do pheromones work in animals and try to understand the way that animals put them out.  Many different animals will use scent as a method to communicate something, whether it is about the state of a communal home, or about themselves.  For instance, an ant that has detected something disturbing will emit a rush of pheromones that can be easily detected by ants that are a few inches in away.  This will cause other ants to come and investigate what is going and at that point, it is possible that the disturbance might be completely dealt with.  If it is not, more and more ants will come to the to rescue until the situation is dealt with.

In this way, you can also see how ants might leave a trail for each other. An ant who has left the hill and has found food will create a trail pheromone between the food and the hill.  Other ants will pick up on the pheromone and start heading for the source of food.  As long as the food continues to hold up to the ants' depredations, the scent trail will be renewed.  Once the food is depleted, other ants will cease renewing the scent trail and the trail will fade.

THE LOVE SCENT

Then, perhaps most famously and most pertinently, human pheromones can be used to denote sexual arousal and an interest in the opposite sex. There are hundreds of different pheromones available and many of these human pheromones are available to humans. The important thing to remember is that wearing one will not give you a animal or unwashed scent. In fact, for the most part, these scents are undetectable. You'll find, though that the results can be impressive when they are applied, whether you can detect them or not.  Some women love them, and others find themselves indifferent, and for the most part, scientists are unable to tell what causes one reaction but not the other.

The pheromones that are sold in perfume, whether it is an aerosol or a solid musk form, is typically designed to attract members of the opposite sex.  Paris Hilton has used pheromones in her name brand perfume, while the Athena Institute, which charges about 100 dollars for 1/6 of an ounce, states that their product has a great deal of proof behind its claims.  Love Scent Pheromones sold at The Love Solutions Store have a very high user rating with customer testimonials stating some amazing results in attracting the opposite sex.
