5 Unhealthy Foods to Avoid if You Want to Get a Date

  1. Soda

Soda is one of the unhealthiest foods you could ever consume. Yes, technically, it’s a drink but you get the basic idea. Why would you want to avoid it if you want to get a date? Soda contains excessive amounts of high fructose corn syrup, which packs on the pounds faster than a diet rich in corn dogs.
Guys with sagging middles are not only at increased risk for heart disease, they also don’t feel as attractive and confident. What’s worse, some sodas contain a chemical called brominated vegetable oil, which has been linked to low sex drive and infertility!

  1. Soy

If you’re eating a lot of soy products, you might want to hold off. Soy, in and of itself, isn’t necessarily an unhealthy food. However, if it’s eaten to excess, it can cause breast development and infertility in men. According to an study published in the Oxford Journal of Human Reproduction, excessive consumption of soy has been linked to low sperm concentration in 99% of the men who consumed it!
Also, most soy products are genetically modified, meaning they contain the pesticide glyphosate. Scientific studies have proven that the drugs found in GM soy, genistein and daidzein, mimic the female hormone, estrogen so well that they can cause erectile dysfunction, mood swings, and frequent crying spells. Definitely not cool if you’re trying to get a date!

  1. Fast Food

Greasy, fried foods make your clothes and hair smell terrible. They also wreck havoc with your metabolic system, causing you to pack on the pounds and feel sluggish and irritable. There’s nothing wrong with indulging every once in the while but if this is how you usually eat, your love life may take a serious nose-dive!

  1. Donuts

If you’re like most men, you don’t have a whole bunch of time to cook a healthy breakfast. Grabbing a donut here and there may seem like you’re only option. However, excessive consumption of refined sugars can spike your sugar levels, expand your middle, and decrease your libido. These are definitely not the qualities a potential mate is looking for.

  1. Alcohol

Okay, again, not a food. Still, alcohol can seriously kill your game. There’s nothing wrong with having a couple of drinks to loosen up but if you come off as a slobbering drunk, you’re not going to pick up any single ladies. Also, excessive alcohol consumption can lead to erectile dysfunction and infertility.
If you eat too much junk food, it’s never good for you. Avoid these unhealthy foods (and drinks) and you’ll not only improve your health, you’ll once again, be in command of your game!
